Had an interview with someone who had only been there for about 6 weeks. Applied for a helpdesk position and was told over the phone that they liked me for field service or manager track. Went in for interview with person I spoke with on phone and owner. Owner wanted to put me on service desk. At this point I’m getting the impression that they really have no clue what they want and that if I take the position I’ll be out within 6 months. Agree to come back on a Saturday and shadow. Get an email asking me to come in on a Friday after they knew I had a job and couldn’t shadow half day during week. Do my shadow on Saturday and get a call Monday that they’re looking for a senior person now.
