I had an initial screen with someone from HR, who was very open and honest about the role. She mapped out how the process would proceed, and on what timeline, if I were to advance.
I then met with the hiring manager for what I'd consider a discussion about the role, my experience and how the fit may or may not work. Less an interview, more of a discussion. The hiring manager was very open with me and gave me really good feedback on what he found interesting about my background, and what gaps in experience he noticed that would need to be addressed if I proceeded in the process.
I then had 3 or so interviews with people from different parts of the organization. I then got a case study to produce and present to a panel.
The process was relatively fast and smooth and went exactly as it was described in my first call. I believe I got an offer less than a week after the final presentation.
