I was told to come in on Monday for a job interview for this position. When I arrived, the moment I sat down, I was told the position I was interviewing for had been filled as of Saturday. Why would nobody from the company have contacted me and told me this, at least not via email? Then, the interviewer continued by saying, "However, we do have several sales positions at the company, they are door to door. Are you in the slightest bit interested?" to which I responded, "Absolutely not." And quite rightly so. You don't do the old bait-and-switch, get me to waste an hour of my time, half of my FEDERAL HOLIDAY on a crap interview only to offer a door to door sales job to a B.A. holding, 3 years experienced, (almost) ABA certified Paralegal!

I was called by a person in Canada who saw my resume on Monster.com and wanted me to come in for an interview. They explained that it was for a recruiting position in human resources, and gave me times to choose from to come in. Then I went and was interviewed by two people who were sort of taking turns and filling in the gaps with questions and explanations. Took about 30 mins. They were 10 mins late.
