I was contacted by a very pleasant recruiter and advised that I'd be a great fit for the position. Took an online assessment and told I passed it with flying colors. We set up and phone interview and was impressed and scheduled me for an interview at the York, PA office. That's when the process went down hill. The building was large and had multiple entrances but there was no sign for Comcast. I had to ask a few people where to go.
I was first walked down a unlit hall and sat in a room with no souls but a guy occasionally walking back in forth eating Planters peanuts out of a can. The gentleman interviewing me was 10 minutes late to the interview. I was greeted by the most unprofessional / unhygienic man I've ever met in a business setting. He was dressed very casual in a black sweat shirt and jeans. He glanced over me and I could tell right away that he was jealous or intimidated seeing me dressed a high quality suit. We sat down and he didn't look me in the eyes once, and was more concerned with typing my answers on a computer rather than actually having a conversation. This also shows about the same quality of customer service when you call Comcast and get horrific service which I experienced first hand. I presented him with about 15 letters I got from clients and performance assessments written by management at previous jobs. He just bragged on about he owned NBC( which he works for not owns) and told me that they are interviewing a lot of candidates and the recruiter will call me when I'm selected. Its a shame because I have A LOT of experience for the job I was applying for and I felt as if it was an unfair interview since I was only able to talk to him and no one else working for the company. I guess if someone doesn't like you at first glance you're out.
