      Applied online. Got an email a few days later to schedule a phone interview. Very standard questions around my background and experience although it certainly seemed the interviewer hadn’t reviewed my resume much ahead of time based on some of her questions. She made some comments like “here’s what worries me….. “ and “I have some concerns with this one” as if she was talking to herself and forgot I was on the other end of the line. She told me the person who had vacated the position quit because she burnt out and was taking some time off to figure out her next move. Not such great PR if you’re trying to hire someone. All in all it was an odd call but she said she or someone from her team would get back in touch to schedule an onsite interview. I followed up via email but never heard from her again. Not sure I really wanted to hear back though!

We take our recruitment process and interviews very seriously, and expect all candidates to be greeted with professionalism and warmth from the moment the first connection is made. We see phone interviews as a great way to explore a candidate’s skills and work experience and typically don’t make an assessment until the conversation is over.
