I applied online directly on employer site. Recruiter contacted me on June 4 to schedule a phone interview. After initial interview was asked to write out questions I answered on the phone. Second interview scheduled with Business Director by phone on June 13.
I was asked for an in person interview on June 18. I interviewed with 4 people on the management team, which included the same Business Director who asked the exact same questions on the phone interview and CEO.
The team was very nice and enthusiastic , I thought the interview went well. On 6/25 the recruiter asked for my references and they were called.
On July 1 recruiter notified me they wanted me to meet HR Director from India as she would be in the office the following week. Final in person interview was scheduled for July 10. I met the HR Director and the Director of Technical Delivery. It was a great interview I thought I did an excellent job and got good feedback. I was told a decision would be made by end of the week and the recruiter would be the one to provide an offer letter.
I followed up the following Monday, 7/15 and recruiter stated " still waiting to hear approvals to proceed further.. I shall get back to you once I have the confirmation."
Then today (7/19) I was matched with a job on LinkedIn from Colibrium for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist and in the description is says the position will also "perform the Office Management role."
4 interviews is a bit excessive and even the HR Director acknowledged that. I feel my time has been wasted for an answer not to be given and for the same role posted under a different job title.
