I was referred for this position by a friend that works internally. I had an initial phone interview and they mentioned it would be passed to the hiring manager for a second interview. Never was called or emailed. Totally ghosted. Super unprofessional and more so upsetting for the current employee that was embarrassed by the lack of follow through. To me it shows lack of respect for employees to not follow through on referred candidates they choose to interview. That’s all.
