Pretty standard couple of zoom interviews, nothing out of the ordinary. The whole process seemed to progress at a reasonable pace, and the calls themselves were quite pleasant. I was told that I'd hear back in about a week, given that there were other candidates they wanted to interview first, which makes perfect sense. I didn't hear back at all for about 2 weeks, until I contacted the recruiter several times asking what the situation was. Roughly 2 weeks after I spoke to them last, I finally was told that they had decided they didn't need to hire anybody for the role. Total waste of time, and because of the long radio silence, a rather frustrating experience.
