I applied for the job via indeed, I got a call from HR in their Bethesda office in MD, had a phone screen and I was invited for a face to face interview which I thought went well. I spoke to HR on my way back from the interview because they had some follow up questions which made me think this was highly likely to turn into an offer. Unfortunately it's been over 6 weeks but no more communication from them, I got a response to one of emails saying hiring manager was out of country and would be back the following week, it's been three weeks after that, nothing still, at this point I'm guessing I didn't get the position but a simple courteous call or email would be nice so I can move on.
