      Entrevista

It wasn’t difficult, but I must say it was very confusing and uncertain. The interviewers and recruiters seemed unclear about the actual job role. I first got a call from a consultancy. In the initial telephonic discussion, I was told the role was for India HR Operations and might require night shifts. In the second call, another recruiter interviewed me for around 15 minutes, asking about my experience and clarifying that the role was actually for US HR Operations, not India, and that it would be a purely night shift position. I clearly mentioned that while I do not have direct experience in US HR Ops, I am open to learning and taking on the opportunity if given the chance. The recruiter assured me that I was the right fit, especially given my Workday experience. Later, a different recruiter called and scheduled the first video interview for the very next day. After that, there was no response. Three days later, another recruiter called and scheduled the second round, where I answered a few questions. The interviewer pointed out that I lacked US-specific experience. I explained that I had already mentioned this to the recruiter, and that I was told the company was looking for someone with my profile. It seemed the interviewer had not been properly informed. After a few days, yet another recruiter called and scheduled the third-round interview for the following day. Although I had a family emergency and was supposed to travel, I cancelled my plans—losing ₹6,000—just to attend the interview, as I was genuinely positive and interested in the role. The third interviewer asked only one question, which I answered correctly. Post-interview, there was no response for four days. Despite following up, I was told that no feedback had been received. I called all four recruiters involved, none picked up. Finally, after 15 days, one recruiter called again but surprisingly, it was to schedule another interview for the same company, with no update about the previous rounds. My advice to fellow job seekers: Do not cancel other interviews or important plans for this company unless the expectations are clearly communicated. Also, try to familiarize yourself with the manual workflow processes, as it seems they are in the early stages of Workday implementation and not everything is automated yet. The entire process felt disorganized and left me disappointed. My only intention in sharing this is to help others avoid similar confusion.
