Entrevista
It was total 2 rounds of interview. First round was technical interview round where interviewer asked me few questions from databases, data warehouse schemas and SQL. Those questions were from easy to medium level. Some of the questions were like: 1. Difference between OLTP and OLAP systems. 2. What type of data are stored in a retail database ? 3. How date dimension table can be used as both conformed dimension table and role play based dimension table. 4. What are Top Down and Bottom Up approaches of Data Warehouse designing ? And then some basic SQL and Python programs were asked. It was around 1 hour of interview round. After 2 days I got call for HR round where I had to only show my 10 and 12th marksheets and some documents.

An Employee table was given and I was asked to find the employees who are getting 3rd highest salary from each department. 13. Find those employees whose salary is higher than average salary of sales employee. 14. What is dimensional modeling in Data Warehouse ? 15. Give examples of data modification anomalies if a database is not properly normalized. 16. Importance of denormalized tables for analytical systems.
Smooth interview process as well as it was very interesting with ample feedback at the end. I enjoyed the conversation a lot and coverted the interview and accepted the offer.
