      Entrevista para Senior QA Role

      5 sep 2025
      Candidato de entrevista anónimo
      Greater Noida
      Sin ofertas
      Experiencia negativa
      Entrevista difícil

      Solicitud

Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Coforge (Greater Noida) en ago 2025

      Entrevista

interviewed with Coforge for a Senior QA position and had a frustrating experience due to poor coordination and lack of transparency in the process. I successfully cleared two technical coding rounds and was told that the final round would be a formal discussion (likely behavioral or offer-related). However, to my surprise, the final round turned out to be another technical coding interview, making it the third coding round — with no prior intimation or preparation guidance. What was more concerning is that I received an automated rejection email within minutes of the round ending. When I reached out to the HR representative, she was completely unaware of both the interview format and the rejection, and told me she would escalate the matter to the panel. This raised serious questions about Coforge’s internal communication between HR and technical teams. For a company interviewing senior-level professionals, this level of disorganization and inconsistency in the hiring process is extremely disappointing. Advice to Management: * * Ensure alignment between HR and technical panels regarding interview expectations.
 * * Respect candidates’ time and seniority — especially when they’ve already cleared multiple rounds.
 * * Avoid last-minute surprises and ensure feedback/rejections are reviewed, not just auto-generated.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

Suppose you have a Cucumber example table with 10 rows. How would you configure Jenkins to ensure that the odd-numbered rows are executed in the morning and the even-numbered rows in the evening? ** I'm genuinely curious—how can this be considered a legitimate question? I'd like to ask those with several years of experience working with Cucumber. To me, it feels more frustrating than insightful. Based on my experience, it seems like questions like these are often driven more by ego than by a desire to share or gain meaningful knowledge. It can feel like a disregard for others’ time and expertise. I'd appreciate your thoughts—do you see value in this kind of question, or do you find it counterproductive as well?**
