My interview process with Costar Group began when a recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. They asked about my work history, reasons for leaving my current job, and requested that I email them if the job description aligned with my skills and experience. Additionally, I was questioned about my COVID vaccination status, and it was clarified that the job required three days in the office, to which I confirmed my vaccination status.
Following this, I scheduled a first-round team interview where I encountered familiar queries about my desire to leave my current position, a detailed walkthrough of my resume, and an explanation of my daily tasks. The interview also delved into my proficiency in AWS cloud services, knowledge of distributed transactions, and my ability to write queries.
Subsequently, a second round was arranged for an in-person interview lasting 1-2 hours. For this stage, I was instructed to prepare a slide and present about myself. The office environment was impressive, and to my delight, lunch was provided as well. Overall, the interview experience with Costar Group was comprehensive and well-organized.
