I was contacted by a recruiter and then had two tech screenings via phone. The tech screenings were focused around big data technology, linux, and programming. There was no testing, just a conversation about different topics and your familiarity with it. They seem less interested in whether or not you've memorized how to accomplish various tasks/brain teasers and instead if you can communicate effectively and think creatively on your feet. After those, I was called in for an in-person interview with a SE manager. We chatted for about an hour about a mix of technology and sales related questions, experiences. Next I was called in to present for 30 min on technology topic. In attendance were other SEs and AEs. Lastly, I was called back in to talk to one of the sales managers and a senior SA.
