I was interviewed twice and had the opportunity to speak with the management staff of the division at the same time. Finally, I had a panel interview. Everything was well organized and structured.

Fairly standard interview process. Recruiter. Hiring Manager on video conference. Onsite for three hours. The final round onsite interview was a bit disorganized. The team's schedule got disrupted and I had an extended break along with a compressed time slot with the last two interviewers, one of them being the hiring manager. All interviews went smoothly and got positive realtime feedback from multiple parties (about hiring). Three weeks and no answer. Multiple check ins with recruiter, onsite coordinator and hiring manager. Silence. Finally, another lead recruiter validated my suspicion and wished me luck as they likely had another candidate in mind. Overall, the path to the onsite interview went seamlessly and was well organized. I was disappointed by the follow-up to get closure on the process. Strong companies have a tight feedback loop for all candidates. Didn't experience that here at Cloudera.
