We take candidate experience seriously and acknowledge there were some gaps in scheduling alignment and timing that could’ve improved the experience with better communication. We apologize this resulted in a poor experience for you. The reason we do the initial Recruiter discovery call is to make sure all lights are green to move deeper into the process and also explain the process with you so you know from the start what you are committing to, and provide you the choice to continue or not. If we know from the beginning you are not a fit, we will not “drag” you through the process as there is no benefit to either party. If you made it deep into our process, it is because you performed well at earlier stages and high interest remained in you deep into our process. Ultimately, we chose to pursue a candidate we felt was more fitting, but that does not take away the fact that you performed very well and remained a viable candidate. In this case there was no constructive feedback to provide, but again, we do acknowledge that could have been communicated better.
