At first, I was extremely pleased with the personal aspect of all the interviews and the in-depth descriptions of the position and company. Everyone I met and spoke with was very personable and would have been great to work with. I was very excited to join the company and received an offer (although it was lower than initially discussed) for an ADR position. This is where the good experience ended.....
However, after my offer there was an extremely stringent and and invasive background and employment verification process that I was instructed to not give notice to my current company until it was completed. I competed all the documentation and extensive on-boarding materials weeks in advance of my set start date, and I followed up on these documents one week prior to starting with ClearCompany, so I could give notice to my current company - something I was already uncomfortable with being on short notice. I was informed, when I spoke with HR at ClearCompany, that individuals at my current company had been reached out to and made aware that I was planning to leave thus creating huge issues within my current situation and in receiving commissions stilled owed to me. I had given specific names of executive level contacts at my organization who could be contacted and those contacts were ignored while others were spoken with; this was something I had no prior knowledge of, nor was I asked if this was acceptable. For a company that supposedly sits firmly in the Human Resources/talent acquisition & management industries this was a huge put off to me and in speaking with HR I was not provided a reasonable answer or policy for the way things were conducted.
At this point I realized jeopardizing my career for this job move was not worth it. I decided to not move forward with ClearCompany and have very real concerns about the quality, legality, and validity of their hiring process. As mentioned above, I have requested the written policy on the background check process and have yet to receive any documentation. Per Massachusetts statue this is something every applicant has a right to request if an employer conducts more than 5 background checks in MA annually. Mass 803 CMR 2.15
So I ended up without 1. My current job 2. A large amount of unpaid sales commissions from my current job 3. A job at ClearCompany (my choosing) ... and this is all due to ClearCompany’s “reckless” nature of obtaining information.
Honestly I am quite upset and bothered with the outcome of this situation but to best protect myself I felt it was only right to not proceed further.
I would highly recommend against interviewing with ClearCompany or considering the company for employment. In addition I would say, if this is any reflection of the way the organization conducts business I would likely avoid their platform and services as well.

Super efficient process. Many companies drag out the process for their own convenience but ClearCo. was super flexible in making time for each step of the process. From start to finish, I was given an offer in 11 days with 4 different online meetings.

A pretty extensive interview process which consists of being screened by a recruiter, then a phone interview, 4 person 30 min interview each back to back and more steps if you're good at jumping through hoops.
During my interview I noticed they weren't a very diverse organization and being an ethnic individual that worried me about bias.
I ultimately was chosen not to move forward in the process but the company will always make the best decision for them. It just wasn't meant to be.
Hopefully this review can provide a bit of insight with their process and the lack of diversity which I feel should strongly be taken into consideration especially during the interview process if you want all individuals to feel welcomed.
