Applied on May 12 2017, received an invite for an interview on June 1st. Typical interview questions about transferable and technical skills. Initially started with a project manager and an analyst but the manager had to leave within 10 minutes so he asked his questions first. Interview lasted about 40 minutes, I may have asked too many questions as I felt as that the analyst wanted to leave. I was told to email references and I would hear back within 1 week but that was NOT the case. After sending my references, I followed up via email, 2 phone calls but did not hear back at all. Then finally, I received a rejection email on July 6th. They said the position was "closed the posting on indeed" and "no longer available" yet they posted another job on indeed.ca for the same position. I just find that it is not professional for an employer to say I will hear back within a week and it takes them over a month with numerous follow-ups to respond back.
