It was great - staff were friendly. It was super easy and not so competitive. It was conducted online. It lasted for an hour with general questions, case study scenario and after the interview it was an assessment of maths and english

Casual over the phone interview. It was bout 45 min in length and the gentleman I spoke with was very receptive to questions about his experience and made me feel relaxed throughout the entire call.

Explain experience working with kids. Situational scenarios and how would you react. Why City year? How do you deal with stress, stay organized, etc.? Pretty straight forward.

The interview was very informal and enjoyable. The interviewer asked the typical scenario questions and a few about what I expected as a volunteer. If you’re honest and open about your motivations, fears, and expectations, the interview should be no problem.
