I got a referral through one of the employees. The initial interviews were scheduled fast but after second round it took a long time almost a month to come back and schedule another round. Later post HR discussion they came back stating my profile doesn't match the requirements. I am very sure, this was due to they were unable to even match my current salary in their offer. During HR interview the HR person asked if I can accept a lower CTC than my current, which I declined. I don't understand that even before the interview began they asked me my current CTC, if they knew they can't offer then they should have not progressed at all.
