Me postulé a través de una agencia de empleos. El proceso tomó 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Citadel (Londres, Inglaterra) en abr 2020
Entrevista
Surreal.. 5 very easy tech screenings (all very similar, testing the same JS knowledge over and over except for one that tested react). They asked to redo one interview without giving any particular reason. Got positive feedback and proceeded to an offer, asked to provide a bunch of documents, had two more interviews with hiring managers, got in touch with people to get their references, negotiated compensation package and accepted it.
Then they disappeared, and a week later I know through the recruiting agency that the CTO decided not to sign the offer because he didn’t like ‘something on the technical feedback’. Imagine what a nightmare of top down, micromanaging culture there must be if this person that I didn’t have any interaction with and I wouldn’t have worked directly with can completely disregard his employees opinions and has so much say in the hiring process. By far the most unprofessional, opaque and overall worst hiring experience I’ve participated in in my career.

I was reached out by a recruiter to interview for a contractor position on a trading team. The question they asked was strange and nothing to do with the position.
