Saw a position posted and sent email to hiring executive. Spoke with my immediate boss. Heard nothing back from the hiring executive who I knew personally; no phone call, nor email, nothing. Did not give up and went to networking mode and contacted his boss (alumnus of same school). Lots of gladhanding but no real action. I eventually left the company.
