I walked in with an employee (manager) referral, filled out an application and was immediately seen by a manager for an interview. She explained to me what the companies goals were and what my main job would be. She asked about previous work experience and my goals.

She asked about handling different situations with customers and fellow employees and how I would handle them. While moderately mundane these question can prove to be trick questions and trap you in a wrong answer.

The interview process was thorough. They asked you questions about your experience in retail and where you felt most comfortable working. The managers gave a detailed explanation of the job duties associated with the position I was applying for.
A single person interview with standard questions about my previous work history. Discussed expectations and the store. The interviewer was friendly. I learned about the store, their services and the different roles offered.
Simple interview at the store. Asked a few questions about leadership and some behaviors. Also asked why this company and why do you want to work here. Got back to me within one to two weeks.
