Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. Acudí a una entrevista en ChowNow
Entrevista
My interview process with ChowNow was the best I've ever experienced. They did a wonderful job structuring how and when the interviews would take place. The whole interview process took about 4 weeks with two phone interviews and the last interview being in person. They were just as accommodating in person as they were over the phone. They were also very understanding when I needed to reschedule my in person interview due to illness.

One of the questions they asked me was along the lines of "Did you ever come across a problem that you had to solve by using creativity?"

They interview you twice then provide a written assignment, then interview you again to make a decision. Lengthy long process if you ask me. I really feel after the 2nd interview you know if the person is qualified or not.

The interview process was seamless. I applied online during COVID, got an email to schedule a phone interview about a week later, had phone interview, the next day I was presented an offer.

There were 4 or 5 rounds of interviews that took weeks of my time just to result in a no. The first round was a typical phone screen. I cannot recall exactly if there was a 2nd phone screen involved. After the phone screen(s), I was invited into the office to do 3 rounds of in-person interviews, which lasted about 3 hours that day. I talked with half a dozen different employees that day, across the Santa Monica office (where I was interviewing) and we also video conferenced in 3 or 4 employees who were working in a ChowNow office in a different state. It was, and to this date still is, the MOST rigorous interviewing experience I've ever had the displeasure of going through. All to get a call back in a few days saying they would pass on me. Just FYI: grilling someone for that long is putting the candidate at a disadvantage. The nerves, the endless talking, getting pushed from person to person. Was this all really necessary for the most entry-level role at your company that pays below market rate in this area? Me thinks not. What can I say, you lost out on a great candidate who ended up getting a higher-paying customer support role at another tech company just 1 month after this horrible experience.
