THE REAL INFORMATION AS TO HOW TO GET HIRED IS AT THE END the first half is a detailed description of my personal interview process.
Well I applied on the Chipotle website, about two days later I got a very brief phone call that they wished me to come to the store which I chose on the website on Friday at 8am. (May 1st 2015 in Sanford) I showed up in White pants, a blue button up shirt and white tie (because I'm that cool) anyways I was surprised to see there were several other job applicants. (A total of six from ages 24 to 17, 3 boys and 3 girls {including myself}) The Chipotle general manager and assistant manager greeted us and we all sat down inside. The managers introduced themselves and all the applicants gave introductions as well. They asked us several very basic questions whish I will list. After about 45 minutes of talking the manager told one guy to go home and he wasn't getting the job. He told the other 5 of us that we would continue the rest of the interview at 10:15. So I drove all the applicants with me to the mall so we could get to know each other. Coming back they gave us FREE food and we met the rest of the crew who all too the time to eat with us. The crew began questioning us with more convoluted but still basic questions. All the conversation with the crew and management was relaxed and all in good fun. After about 1 hour of talking the crew and managers all went into the kitchen and later the manager came out and called myself and the girl next to me into the kitchen where they told us we weren't what they were looking for, as we walked away they laughed and said they were kidding and we got the job. Followed by hugs and laugher as this amazing feeling came over me when I had realized I had just joined the Chipotle team.
Now before I saw what the Chipotle team is looking for, if this does not describe you than I don't know you will succeed in the business or at the interview.
The managers want people with Chipotle's 13 Characteristics, you can look these up but in a nutshell they want leaders, funny and happy leaders who aren't shy or rude. The interview is laid back but don't curse up a storm or anything. That's why one guy left the interview early. Be happy, describe you interests honestly even if they are video games and Netflix. (those were half of mine) Introduce yourself, show energy and an interest in the job. Don't act like a powerful lone wolf because Chipotle is all about the pack. (TEAMWORK!) Dress nicely, I was the only one not dressed like an average high school kid and I think just about anyone can get the job. I'm 18, and medium build. An Asian American in college and I got the job because I followed the 13 characteristics. (It's more like I was born that way) Good luck getting hired!
P.S. Making GOOD AND FUNNY jokes is a great way to get noticed and DO RESEARCH of the company, just look it up on the Chipotle website.

Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
