I applied on line, and about a week later I received an email to come in for an interview. The interview turned out to be a group interview, and it was fairly easy. Basically, have knowledge of chipotle and their history. Know who the founder is (steve ells) and about food with integrity (no rbgh in dairy products, all meat is all natural, food is cooked fresh daily). You also need to stand out! Don't be afraid to be the first to answer questions, and make sure to ask the interviewer questions at the end. After that, I got another email for a 2nd interview. It wasn't an interview at all, but rather you go behind the scenes and get to know the crew members. If they like you, you will get hired, and if they don't, you won't. Two days later I got the call that I was hired!

Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had

Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
