Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) en dic 2013

      Entrevista

I have never been a customer at chipotle but I always see them packed whether it's in the morning, afternoon, or night. Weekdays and weekends. So I knew they needed as many employees as they could get due to their high customer intake. I applied to an online job posting during the summer to a new location that was opening. I didn't receive any emails or phone calls for a few weeks so I called another store in the same city and asked if the store was still going to be opened or if plans were changed. They then gave me the number to speak with the manager of the new location, who then told me that she wasn't giving interviews until the first week of December. That seemed very peculiar but being unemployed i had to be optimistic. December finally came and I had gotten an email to come in for an interview. I had dressed top to bottom in formal wear. I didn't want to take any chances in that department despite others saying casual wear would be fine. Myself and two other people were called in a group, not individually, to speak with the hiring managers in the dining room with loud pop music interfering. I just thought that was very unprofessional and uncomfortable which doesn't really make a job interview situation in general any better. They just asked very general customer service interview questions. Which we took turns answering. Just from my understanding, one manager had many piercings and tattoos and the other had a very thick accent so I was trying my best to answer each question accurately.and to the best of my knowledge being that I had food service experience. Long story short, the interview lasted 10 minutes or so. Both of the managers gave weak handshakes and they explained that we would be alerted by phone or email if hired. After the interview, i come home and check my email, not even an hour later, I was told I wasn't hired. If that isn't a knife in the heart, i don't know what is. Nothing against the company, but I really won't be applying here or visiting as a customer or otherwise. Just very unprofessional and rude.

Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had

      Entrevista

Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day

The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
