I applied online and was asked to come in for an interview about a week later. The interview was scheduled for Thursday at 9am. I got there 15 minutes early and didn't see a GM until around 9:45. There were about 20 people waiting for interviews so he interviewed us in groups of 3. I didn't get interviewed until 10:30. The GM asked us basic questions like "why chipotle". Everything was going well until he asked where do we see ourselves in the future; I said I wanted to become a nurse. After that the interview went downhill (basically his attitude changed). He explained to us how he worked his way up from food prep to GM. Basically what I concluded from this interview is that they really don't want to hire someone who is interested in moving on to bigger and better things in life. Such as college and a real career. I don't feel like that is fair because a lot of teens are looking for summer and part time jobs to earn extra money and job experience. Chipotle should not turn teens down because they don't plan on making chipotle a lifetime job for themselves. So in the end I didn't get the job, and it was a complete waste of my time.
