A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn - passed me to another recruiter who then scheduled a call with me and forwarded me to the COO for a phone interview. The first time that they scheduled - the COO just did not bother to call. I pushed to get it rescheduled - then when I finally spoke to him - he sounded busy, bothered and like the position was not a priority. After that call - the company has just completely blown me off. I've followed up to find out the status of the position and if they were moving forwarded or looking at other candidates and no one responds. For a company striving to play with the big box retailers, I was really bothered by the lack of polite professionalism. Not even HR/Recruiting ever got back to me either of the times I followed up. They were the ones that approached me about the job to begin with. Oh well.
