I received a call from a recruiter after applying for the position with Chewy. It was a 15 minute call and during that time the interviewer made it seem like I had made it to the second round of interviews (there are 3 interviews and from what I was told and it sounds a lot like interviewing at Amazon). I got a message a few days later that they weren’t moving forward with my application. Why make it seem like I got to the second round of interviews and then just send me a canned message that says I wasn’t chosen for the role. Seems like a bad way to do business in my opinion.
