I had originally received an inquiry on LinkedIn from a recruiter about the as I was uniquely suited since I had led the same program when it was with another agency. However, after many weeks of silence, I finally received an email about an interview. Once I set up the interviews both with HR and the account team, the HR person forgot and didn't show up to my first call.
Once we rescheduled, she was again late by more than 10 minutes. Ultimately, she didn't seem very informed about my background despite having supplied both a resume and portfolio. And the interview ultimately ended once we discussed compensation. It would appear either they pay significantly less than their counterparts (this was Dallas, by the way), or it was just a convenient reason to end the conversation. Who knows.
She ended up saying I was better suited for a Director role, but nothing was available. She asked me to reformat my resume so she could take it to the Group Account Director to see if there was anything that they could open up that would be a good fit. So, she cancelled my interview with the account team and I sent a reformatted resume within the next hour.
Never heard from them again.
