Had to submit my reply twice through email just to confirm that I was interested in the position. The recruiter indicated that she missed my email, which makes me question what is the purpose of her role in the department if I am having to follow up throughout the entire process. During the interview, the recruiter ended up hanging up the phone call after five minutes into the conversation stating that she needed to speak to her manager. Called back 2-3minutes later and stated she did not know why the call dropped. Emailed her a week later to follow up on my job status for the next stage of the interview. She stated that my application was still being reviewed. A week later and no response. Overall, the experience was unprofessional. I would not have taken the job offer if offered the position. The corporation might have a modern approach with their investing practices but promote an archaic and outdated way of getting to know possible future employees. In the end, the recruiter made the entire process more than it should have been and seemed to be going through the motions just to collect a paycheck. This could be an indication of the company's cultural problems. To conclude, the entire process was a waste of time after hearing that the company wanted to hire graduates after completing their degrees at the university. Luckily, other options are available in Colorado with their competitors.
