This interview process was a complete waste of time. Over two months, I interviewed four times with six different people — reworking my schedule and taking off work repeatedly just to accommodate last-minute cancellations and reschedules.
I interviewed strongly, answered every question, and then got ghosted. For three weeks post-final interview, the recruiter kept telling me no decision had been made — which I knew wasn't true. When I finally followed up myself, I was told they selected someone else. I asked for feedback, and got ghosted again — just an automatic rejection email.
The team itself was great. But the way this process was handled is unacceptable. Candidates prepare hard, take time off work, and invest real energy into these conversations. The least you can do is be honest and respectful with their time.
If you already know a candidate isn't the one, don't drag them through four rounds over two months. Do better.
