I applied for the role online at the Cello Health website and I also reached out to a recruiter on LinkedIn to schedule an interview. The recruiter I spoke with was new with the company and didn’t know anything about the role. She also hadn’t looked at my resume prior to the interview, which was super unprofessional. At that point I should’ve walked away but I didn’t against my better judgment. I was then sent a writing assessment which took quite a bit of time. I completed after work at my FT job. After a week after the due date, I still hadn’t heard anything so I reached out to follow up. The response I got was an automatic email stating that I was no longer a candidate. The recruiter then called me to let me know I didn’t pass the assessment. When I asked for feedback, I wasn’t given any.
Overall my experience was very negative and it felt very unorganized and unprofessional.
This company really needs to get people on the same page, provide feedback, and pay people for their time completing tests.

Initial interview: interviewee was ~20 minutes late calling in, which made me late to another meeting. It would have been ideal to be informed when the interviewee realized they would be late, so that I could have made any necessary arrangements.
A writing exercise was requested. A few weeks after I submitted it I was contacted to schedule a phone interview. They asked general questions about why I wanted to be a medical writer, what I would bring to the company, etc
