The interview was very direct and heavily weighted toward rapid-fire questioning, which I thought was a fair approach but annoyed that he had clear biases and informational gaps which dominated the discussion. The process felt efficient but not especially conversational, and the interview did not leave much room for mutual discovery. At the end, when I began asking questions about the company and role, he gave me a bunch of one word answers. He could not articulate a long-term vision for the company or really anything that would inspire, nor could he really describe anything about the team or opportunity. His questions to me were far less thoughtful than the actual pre-screen interview I'd had. At the end, I felt a bit disrespected and questioned to myself whether I'd even want to work for them if given the opportunity. His body language, transactional conversation style, and terse description of the company told me that it's simply a pressure cooker environment and not a place where one can build anything great and lasting. Stay away.
