Applied through Glassdoor but also emailed my resume to the hiring manager and about a week later he emailed me back asking if I wanted to interview for the position. We had a remote interview several days later and it went really well. The hiring manager disappeared a week but the second Monday after the interview he called and asked if I could come into their office for a second interview on Halloween. Came in and talked to the hiring manager, HR, and another employee of the company for about 45 minutes to an hour. They gave me a rundown of the benefits and a tour of the building so I was honestly expecting an offer, but the hiring manager proceeded to ghost me and not reply to my emails following up after the second round interview. It’s now November 22nd and I see that they offered somebody else the job but couldn’t handle following up with me to let me know that I couldn’t get the job which was really immature and leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
