Applied online and a recruiter responded within days to setup time to speak with her. The recruiter was very personable and engaging, and extremely informative about the company and the role - including career trajectory with this specific role! Most recruiters can't answer that question, let alone proactive provide that information. I could also tell the recruiter had done her prep work and she referenced several specific roles and people she knew from specific companies along my career journey. While not required, a very nice touch to her recruiting style - it did lead me to believe she knew what she was doing as recruiter. At the end of our call, she said she wanted to schedule time for me to interview with the hiring manager. I walked away from the process before that could happen as I wanted something slightly different as my next career step - it had nothing to do with the great things Carta is doing, or my experience interviewing with them.
