First interaction was with a headhunter, spoke to the headhunter on the phone and was briefed on the position, asked to complete a written survey of qualifications & interests. Was then contacted by a recruiting specialist. Next was contacted by the headhunter and briefed on our progress. After this I was told I would be speaking with the hiring manager as this was position would have required me to relocate, much to my surprise, three quarters of the way through our conversation I was informed that I was speaking with a potential colleague from the team (an equal) and not the hiring manager. This explained the lack of answers to my questions about the company and the position. This experience has taken roughly 60 days which is not abnormal from what I read however I feel as though they have wasted my time, especially without a follow up to our last phone call where I was mislead.
