      Entrevista

Human Resources contacted me regarding my job application. It took over 4 weeks for my first contact from the company from the date of my application. I had missed the phone call and called back immediately and left a voicemail leaving my contact information and that I was returning their call. I did not hear back from them, so 4 days later I called back again and left another message about my interest in the position. I did not receive a call back from my prior messages for another 5 days! The representative I spoke to was very brief and only informed me that they wanted me to interview for the position. On the first contact we set up a date and time for the interview for the following week. I showed up for the interview and the manager I was supposed to meet was not in yet. I had to interview with a supervisor and tour the facility before the hiring manager arrived. While seeing the operation it was very high paced and the employees did not seem very happy. Their seemed to be a lot of disorganization and overheard some complaining between the workers and their team-leads; asking why other employees were getting the easier picks. After about an hour, the hiring manager finally arrived to interview me. He reviewed my resume and asked me a few questions about my work ethic. He asked if I minded working 10-12 hour days on occasion. If I was capable of moving at a quick pace for this period of time and capable of bending and lifting heavy objects. He seemed very dismissive and disinterested in interviewing me and rushed through the process. Two days later I received a phone call from the Human Resources department offering me the position and informing me that I had to go for a Urinalysis test prior to my hiring and fill out my work history and agree to a background check. I was emailed the work history and background check documents, but had to go back to the site to pick up the drug test screening form. I was told that I could go and pick it up any time of day. I went their at 9am the following morning to pick up the form, and had to wait over an hour for someone to provide this to me. Apparently, they could not find them. The writing was all over the wall and should of realized from the lack of response from HR for my hire, the late showing of the hiring manager and now the difficulty in finding a drug screening form that the workplace was very disorganized. The drug testing facility is LabCorp and you can conveniently go to anyone located nearest you.
