First, I had a phone screening with one of their developers. Pretty informal. Just talked about my previous experiences and what interested me about the position. Bryan did a SPECTACULAR job of getting my strengths out of me and really taking the time to get to know me. Left me a really good impression of the company.
Second, I completed a take-home assignment and then visited the Lincoln office for in-person interviews with each of the developers there. I really enjoyed this. I met with them each one-on-one, and they all talked to me about different things. Some talked about the code I had submitted, and other's just my previous experience. Everyone made me feel welcome and again, worked to bring out the strengths in me and see where I would be a good fit. Had a great experience here.
Then I had a phone conversation with one of their recruiters in New York. She was really cool and was just trying to find out what I was looking for and why I wanted to work at CardFlight.
Next would have been talking with the VP and CEO, but unfortunately, it was decided that I would not be able to telecommute for the position. I was really bummed as I was very excited for this opportunity, but nonetheless had a very good interview experience and will be reaching out when I move back to Lincoln. Great team.
