Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Carbon Lighthouse (San Francisco, CA) en jun 2016
Entrevista
It was fairly extensive. After the online form, I had an initial phone interview. I was then asked to do a timed assignment, which I wasn't able to complete in the time allotted. I was able to complete it with additional time, and had a feedback phone call with two members of the sales team. I then had an in-person interview, which lasted about three hours and allowed me to meet several members of the sales team, the CEO and President. When they checked references, they asked the references I provided for additional people that I have worked with. The process took a few months, but largely because it was during the summer when many members of the team (including the VP of sales) were out of office.

Hiring process was nicely outlined in their “How We Hire” post. First step was, obviously, application, then a short qualitative phone interview, then a work sample project, follow up interview, and final interviews.

First they do a typical 30 min phone interview. Then, if you move on, you do a 2.5 hour long test, and feedback call for the test. Next, is a 3 hour in-person interview with multiple sessions. Lastly, is reference checks! They're very transparent about their hiring process. They have a blog post all about how and why they interview this way!

Why do you want to work at Carbon Lighthouse (your typical why are you interested in the company question)?

The interview process consisted of two members of the team asking questions. The questions seemed to be interview questions that one might ask of an intern or someone without skills or an education. We never discussed my skills or abilities, it was more of a personality test type questionnaire. However, the questions weren't even structured to gleam personality traits. It was more of story telling. I don't really see how this is supposed to be helpful in making a decision during the hiring process.
