Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en CarMax (Hickory, NC) en feb 2018

I came on Glassdoor and read the reviews concerning the interview process, wrote down all the questions that were mentioned on here, then also took popular situational questions I found online giving myself a rather large list of questions to review prior to the interview. But I swear all but one of the questions I was asked was one I found on here. Got me the job. Longest interview I've been to (took right around 3 hours to complete), but it wasn't super hard. A lot of waiting for the managers to be free to interview. There were 3 sales managers along with the general manager. One sales manager did the phone interview, another the pre-req interview (going over my resume and any discrepancies as well as the online test and information I completed before the interviews), the 3rd did situational questions along with a role play, and the LGM (local general manager) completed more situational questions along with anything else he wanted to add and ask. Interviews/meetings were all separate.

Review everyone's questions and you'll be good to go. Mostly situational questions, some of which were concerning working with customers, persuading them, getting sales, and general helpfulness to another.

First interview over the phone. Second in person with a mock car sale. Currently waiting to hear back whether I will be considered for a final interview at the moment.

Tell me when you went out of your way and above for a manager.

I had a disappointing experience with interview process. After submitting an online application, I was contacted by a hiring manager/recruiter who scheduled a 20-minute phone interview for a specific date and time.
Unfortunately, no one called at the agreed-upon time, and I did not receive any communication explaining the missed interview or offering to reschedule. A few days later, I received an automated rejection email.
The lack of communication and professionalism throughout the process was frustrating. If a company chooses to move forward or not move forward with a candidate, at least a basic courtesy and timely communication is expected.

Are you available for a 20 minutes phone interview next week?
About a 15-20 minute phone interview. Basic questions like past job experience, are you comfortable with customer service? If they like you, you move on to an in person interview. A scripted interview with one of the sales managers asking open ended questions on why you would be a good candidate, if you have sales experience, & that you understand it is a 100% commission position. You will then complete a sales exercise on the lot, where you complete a brief walkaround of a vehicle & present some obvious features & benefits of the vehicle. If you get passed that, you meet the General Manager where he/she will be the final decision. He asked repetitive questions the sales managers did & then asked specific questions like "Describe a time you sold a product, what was the determining factor that resulted in the customer buying that product?"
