First call with HR, immediately some red flags are apparent "We like people who work hard" (??) "We are looking for quants to start immediately" this is very strange for a serious trading business looking for quants, since non-competes in this field tend to be very long (usually 1 year). It gave me the feeling that it would have a poor work life balance with little intention to invest in talent/business long term. Went to their office, twice, because "they like me", get ghosted after that with no feedback, even after several inquiries from the external recruiter. Complete disrespect for candidates. I am glad I did not go there.
