I went through campus recruiting. First, they interviewed me for the Business Analyst position. I did the phone interview and the Power Day in the McLean office. Then my recruiter told me they had loved me and wanted me to interview for another position, in the Management Rotational Program. Okay, I agreed that it was a better fit so again I went through the Power Day. I have a full time job and had to take 3 days off just for these interviews. In the end, I was not offered a job from Capital One. The recruiter had absolutely nothing to say on why, even though I had wasted my time doing all these interviews and had been led to believe that the second interview was more of a formality than anything. My conclusion, and one that is shared with other people on this page, is that Capital One likes to interview people they have no plans to hire to pretend that they have a large amount of students interested in them as a company and low "acceptance" rates. It's a bit sad and its hugely disrespectful to everyone that has to go through the process just to be rejected with a "no. I don't know why, but no".
