Entrevista
It was suppose to start at 2.30pm for a duration of 3 hours. When i arrived, I was told to begin the written assessment in a room that included a few other candidates like myself. I was allocated 2 and a half hours for the written assessment that included half an hour to fill in a form of particulars. The form inquired on my family background etc which I thought was a waste of my time. I had 4 questions for the essay.
1. Who do you think is the best economist? How do you think you can be better? [Pretty silly question in my opinion]
2. Strengths and weaknesses
3. I don't remember
4. To review an economist based article
After this, due to delays in the interview sessions held before me, I was interviewed at around 6pm.
It was an individual interview, however there was 1 person interviewing me while another took down notes. Here, she asked me very technical questions relating to my job title of course. It was as if she was trying her best to see if I was making things up about myself or trying to trick me.
She asked me questions like:
How often do you read news?
Tell me about it, and she asked questions from the things i mentioned.
Etc
It lasted for 30 minutes.

They were mainly interested in seeking clarification about the things I wrote in the job application form and also my resume. The job application form does seem intrusive at some points as mentioned in some of the previous reviews. For the assessment that you have to complete prior to the interview, it's quite different from what typical company assessments look like. There was only one question that tested your theoretical knowledge.
I was not interviewed by the manager during the initial interview but rather new hires who held the same position I was interviewing for in the company.
