Q1. Describe yourself in three words. Ans. The question is directed towards candidates to understand their core qualities. These three words will last an impression on the interviewer. Hence, you should only use positive adjectives to define yourself. You can define yourself as ambitious, hard-working, goal-oriented, motivated and enthusiastic. These words will define how driven you are. Q2. Why do you think Capgemini is good for you? Ans. This is an important interview question since the company will expect you to know about it beforehand. If you do not know anything about the company, then it will leave a bad impression on the interviewers. Let us now consider a sample answer: “Capgemini offers IT and consulting services to global clients. It is a deeply multicultural and inclusive organisation that offers growth opportunities to every employee.’ Do note that your answer can vary and there are no fixed guidelines to answer such questions. Q3. What are your strengths and weaknesses? Ans. This is another behavioural question to understand the psychology of the candidate. You must answer this question in a manner that your strengths and weaknesses reflect the positive aspect of your personality. Take me through your resume. Ans. This is a crucial question. It validates your candidature’s authenticity. You must be very thorough with your resume. Every gap must be explained relevantly and each skill must be justified. Q4. Tell me about your past projects. Ans. You must have the knowledge to answer questions related to your past projects. Do remember that you may be asked about the technical aspect of the project and you should be ready with these answers. Q5. Where do you see yourself five years from now? Ans. This answer will reflect if you will stick with the company in the long run. Your answer must involve your growth prospect associated with the company. A sample example would be: “I would like to see myself promoted and at the senior level of management in Capgemini. The interviewers were professional and friendly. The questions were mostly based on my resume, project experience, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and problem-solving skills. The entire process was completed within a few weeks, and communication from the recruitment team was timely.
