The interview was originally arranged through a phone call, but the actual interview was conducted as a Microsoft Teams video interview. Overall, it was one of the worst interview experiences I have had. The interviewer’s tone felt disrespectful and unnecessarily aggressive. At times, I was told to answer only “yes or no,” which made the conversation feel pressured rather than like a professional technical discussion. The interview focused heavily on React-related questions, including React Router, useNavigate, TypeScript generics, useTransition, RTK Query, staleTime, and useLayoutEffect. Some of the questions also covered TypeScript, even though TypeScript was not clearly mentioned in the job description. The process felt unstructured, critical, and uncomfortable rather than fair or constructive.
