      Entrevista para Toolchain Engineer

Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 5 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Canonical en sep 2022

      Entrevista

Don't waste your time. Seriously, there are better places out there that value a candidate's time more. First I had to do a 7 page essay going back to my highscool experience. Then I was given a technical challenge I spent a whole weekend over. After that, I had three separate interviews, 1 hour each, with engineers from different areas. Afterwards, I had a brief meeting with HR discussing salaries and amenities (there are not as many as you would think). Later, I had an interview with my would-be technical leader. After that I had yet again ANOTHER interview with another senior engineer. Not even from my area, mind you. At this point I have had SIX separate interviews, over the course of almost four months. I was told the process would take time so I was patient. I asked for an update after nearly a month of radio silence and was told my application was still being processed, but I would have an update by next week. So I waited yet ANOTHER month only to grow impatient and ask where I was standing. It was only then that I was explicitly told my application was not going forward. Almost five months later. Truly irresponsible and disdainful of the applicant's time.
