Nice office. Employees seemed nice. Head director was nice and professional. The "company culture" seemed way too forced. One of the last parts of the interview process also seemed very forced and un-authentic. I was asked several times if I was a smoker, and if I was, there was NO way I'd be able to work there. Which is kind of stupid because I know plenty of geniuses with a plethora of skills who happen to be smokers. I was also asked why I didn't have a facebook account because they tried to look me up prior, which is also a bit disturbing and a slight invasion of privacy. One of the interviews also consisted of 6 employees grilling me on every question possible from every angle. Like I get it, you want to find the best employee for your team. But these people were really going about it all wrong. When you put someone in a situation like that, you raise the risk of hiring someone who is very good at interviews, but not actually that great of a contributor to the team. This is probably why I always see new job postings for the exact position I was interviewed for, i.e. HIGH TURN-OVER RATE. APPLY TO THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.
