First stage involved a quick 30 minute chat with HR to learn a bit about me as a person. Gave me the opportunity to better understand the company and ask some questions. I was then asked to complete a take home coding challenge which consisted of creating a data visualisation with their JavaScript SDK. The documentation was really well put together which meant I was able to get going quickly. The coding task was really interesting and gave some insight into the company’s products - I genuinely enjoyed working on it. I was then put through to a panel interview with some of the technical team. We discussed the coding task and spoke about my experience, previous projects, motivations around the role, etc. The final stage was a call with CEO Joe Parry where we had a general chat about the company’s products, my history and future career prospects. The whole process was done online. Cambridge Intelligence was very professional and HR was quick to get back to me with any feedback throughout. Everyone I met was really friendly and made me feel welcomed. All in all it was a really positive and well thought out experience.
